Well a 'nobody' is hardly pleasant for starters and journeywoman isnt particularly nice either.
Maybe these girls progress in different stages and can come good later.
Not the nicest way to discuss people

Ah right, so not me then and not about Georges either?
Looking back at results, katie beat georges 1 and 1 in Perth last year so maybe Dunn isnt quite at her best
You got the wrong player anyway. I don't particularly rate Georges, but she was never referred to as a nobody or a journeywomen on this thread.
As for Katy not being quite at her best, that's an understatement and something that she would acknowledge; she's lost 7 of her last 8 matches, the last 5 in straight sets and was quoted at Shrewsbury less than 3 months ago saying "I can't play tennis. I actually can't play tennis."
Naturally, like a few other of our players not in great form, I hope they can turn things around as I'm sure everyone on here would echo that.
Sorry, Ace V, if you got it in the neck for my misdemeanours.
Newby, firstly I was talking about Fiona Gervais and I put 'nobody' in inverted commas to show that it wasn't personal but purely in professional tennis terms, to back up the point about the 60k field being weak. She's got no WTA ranking now, and has never been higher than 900.
Julie Gervais is most certainly a journeyman, aged 27, highest ranked 420 or so. It's not an insult. Indeed, the Cambridge dictionary defines 'journeyman' as 'any worker who produces good but not excellent work'. That's a perfect description.
I didn't mention Georges at all.
And I was more complimentary about Albie.
I know extremely well that some progress quicker than others. And certain ones are late bloomers. But we can't be equally nice about everyone.
