I was wondering if it was just me thank couldn't see the entry lists for Burnie and France 60ks, but clearly not. I would the girls in AO qualies would all be down for this too.
Liam playing ITF to maybe pick up some ITF points to be able to enter future events?
This I feel is a bad approach because YOU CAN'T EARN ATP POINTS IN FUTURES ANYMORE!!!! (ok you get 3 for winning a 25K which is the same as winning a round in a challenger).
Can anyone explain to me the logic in this? He'd have made the cut in 3/4 challengers this week including one in USA.
Warm up and practice to see where his game is would be the logical reason. His game probably isnt at challenger level at the moment, so it does makes sense.
I guess hes hoping for a string of games rather than just 1 or 2 games at Challenger and then out. If he can go deep then hopefully this will help him get some momentum and rhythm in his game that he can take back to the Challengers. I guess the other way to look at it would be sometimes you take a weeks training to work on aspects of your game and other times its relevant to take a step down.
Liam has a ridiculously bad ITF ranking which could cost him dearly in terms of getting into Challengers under the reserved ITF places. He may be trying to boost it for that reason. Or to get match practice. There are plenty of other men about his ranking also trying the same approach so I guess it makes sense to them.

This is now the 6th day that there has been a technical fault preventing the entry lists for the 60k tournaments in Australia and France from loading. Congratulations ITF for your technical wizardry and speedy resolution of some glaring technical errors, which do rather affect players' planning too.
Updated with withdrawals (with a bit of guesswork for Australia/France).
Good to see Robbo and Carreras still entered
Yes it's going to be interesting to see people like Mandy now have to get to the top of the ITF ranking before she can easily get back into W25s again, in order to secure her WTA ranking once more... for which she needs another 2 counters or a W25 QF.
Katy and Maia are in qualifying with Jodie, Eden, Tara and Emily WS among the alts in W60 France Heather, Harriet, Katie S and Gabi are in the main draw for W60 Australia.

Yes they've taken a week to correct them - and finally made them available at the same time the Week 5 acceptance lists have also been made available, with Heather and Gabi early entrants in the W60 in Australia again.
