The Indians have just dumped out the second seeds, Oswald & Pütz, in three sets.

P.S.  What was wrong with calling it the quarter-final?  confuse

Good point. I was trying to follow suit from the L16 that had been posted for the first tie. It didn't look right so I added R2. Completely not thinking it's the quarter final. Was obviously out of practice due to the off season!!

Luke and Jonny have started their QF against the locals with some very noisy support. As Madadman pointed out the general tennis section, the only way to watch it, in 2019, is on a betting stream.

First tournament of the year, first final:

SF:  Luke Bambridge & Jonny O'Mara CR 118 (56+62) defeated (4) Gerard Granollers & Marcel Granollers (ESP/ESP) CR 117 (92+25) by 6-4 3-6 [10-6]

They could have won in in two, having led by a break up to about the half-way point.

Excellent and unseeded as well (albeit by one ranking spot). Good start to the season for them!

Did well there to overcome what can only be described as a shocking 4 games in the second set

Luke up to LR 51 and Jonny LR 55, and a final win would nudge then up a few more spots. If they can get into the top 40 they should be getting into the Masters draws as they have they have increased the draw sizes to 32. This would be massive for them to play for bigger points and be good if they can do it as quickly as possible so they don't get stuck at the this level.

good point Wolf - what size is the draw at IW and Miami, do they only have 32 pairs also or will it be 48?
