It is worrying to hear that Andy still has pain in his hip when he plays.
As he has been saying hopefully that will ease with more matches and he can at least be unrestricted. But even relatively unrestricted as such playing with continual pain can't be fun.
Nearly took a dive in my predictions list but l too hope ...
My concern with Andy is that he's being undergoing therapy and training in the US for several months so why would suddenly playing tourneys and matches see it clear up? It won't clear up now, he is going to have to live with some pain for rest of his career. Question is whether it inhibits him - most players have pain or discomfort of sorts, but can they move ok and be an athlete. Playing 3 matches or whatever in Brisbane won't make the pain get any better, surely? He's going to have to learnt to live with it and do his best or..
Not
You gotta wonder if Nadal and Delpo, as well as many others, Ivanovic for one, just kinda do the best they can with the pain and until they can no longer. Andy has recently said that he wants to end his career on his own terms, so it makes sense.
I do like the camaraderie the GB players have as well as the tour in general. Social media definitely has it's negative points but I like that we seem to get a more personal side to people - sportspeople, actors, singers etc that we only used to get interviews in papers and tv. Andy is very funny, although I get humour is subjective (there is plenty comedy I don't find amusing) www.instagram.com/p/BsDRrr1FxWD/
