British Tour 2019

Naomi trains there. It's local and they both need to get back to winning.

Theres a futures event on the exact same courts next week (which are exceptionally slow, so need getting used to), its excellent competition against good opponents, any player can do with an extra £1500 in their bank accounts, the younger players get better competition, and its local. Why wouldn't they play it?!

By the way, is this the Chris Lewis who is the coach at Cardiff Met uni, who's worked with JoKo and Evan Hoyt, and was born 1982 and used to be ATP top 500?

I assume so.

In which case, great to see a local Welshman doing well. And an 'old-timer' too, showing the kids he's still got it

I came on here to ask the exact same thing, I know he has played the odd futures and BT event since 'retiring', it would be nice if someone could confirm it either way!

THis is not 100% confirmation but if you click on his name in this event, and then on the other events that person has played in, you get events he's played going back to 2008

If you know any of those as a certainty, then he's your man.

If you click on his name from the entry list in the find a competition tool it has him as 1982 born.
