am I correct that Dan had to pay back circa 400k usd in prizemoney when he was banned? I might be overegging the amount but how does that work? Immediately in one go? That would bankrupt most people. Or over a period of time to make it manageable. It's unlikely most folks would simply pop 400k in the bank and even if it was saved,  much might be illiquid. Anyone know?

Yes - Evan Furness is the lad who beat Dan Evans last week ...... :(

christT - I actually woke up last night at 4 in the morning, thinking, you complete imbecile (me, not you !) and this morning I added to the first post above:

Edit 24 hours later: complete old age moment above - actually Dan WON against Evan, in two tight sets. Sorry. (Got Evan confused with Dan Added who Evo did lose to - there's something about the two English sounding names - Evan Furness and Dan Added - that makes me get them mixed up)

And then saw your post ..... so sorry !!!!!!!!

No apology necessary, I was simply confused (at my age that is an almost permanent condition!).

Thankyou for resolving the issue anyway!
