Have been travelling very intensively for work the last couple of weeks (and have another few to go still), so haven't had time to follow much or write anything, but have been keeping tabs on Mandy this week, and so, so pleased to see her winning again, getting her WTA ranking back for now (which will help with entries), and let's hope tee herself up for an assault on the rankings again next year. Yes, that might mean two rankings, but if her wrist holds up and Mandy is able to sustain the type of play being reported here, she'll storm back up the WTA rankings too, even if she has to start with the transition tour. I doubt she will need to focus on 15ks for long.
Mandy will move up 722 places to 259 on the shadow ITF rankings when these points are added next week.
Without a (shadow) WTA ranking she is likely going to need to take advantage of the 25K reserved places to move up to 25Ks. While it remains to be seen where a typical cutoff for those reserved places will be, to be top 100 she needs about another 100 points (1 title, or at least 2 finals or 3 semi-finals and a QF) and to be top 50 another 194 points (2 titles or 4 finals or 7 semi-finals).
