I don't know the score, but Mandy won. Terrific passing shot on match point.
She certainly moves well, has great defence and hits the ball hard. Don't know how tall she is, but her opponent was quite a lot taller.

Yeah, having seen her live several times, 'not tall' is the answer smile

The girl certainly relishes her clay court background (although I still maintain she's not that bad on grass - the low bounce certainly doesn't bother her!) 

But lovely result, and lovely to see her back playing.

More than a week ago Amanda withdrew from both her first and second choice tournaments for next week and she has also withdrawn from her 1st choice for the following week so it looks as if she is resting or training for a while.

She's actually withdrawn from all 5 tournaments she was entered into for week 49, so taking a well-earned break I think.
Still entered for Solarino for week 50, but currently down at A162 before withdrawals start.

Mandy now showing on the OER live ITF rankings at 503 (up 388 !) with her 32 points from this week.
