To start with the other girl was moving Fran around and she didn't really have an answer. When she tried the same Frans line shots kept missing but she has gradually got her accuracy back and That is making the difference. If she can maintain her present form she stands a good chance of turning this round.

Fran got it back to 2-2, but the Chilean has just won 8 points in a row, 2-4*

It ran away from Fran a bit in the end. The Chilean won the last 4 games and 16 of the last 19 points.

4-6 7-5 2-6

A little disappointing the way that ended, especially after recovering from 1-4 to take the 2nd set, but she fought well and did get a 60k win and put out a seed convincingly.
