Eden lost 6-7 4-6

Winnable match on paper but it was close and may have been different if she served out that first set. She was always playing catch up in the 2nd.

Yeah, overall it's been a bad day for those more in the mainstream than these overseas 15ks. 3 defeats in Canberra, not too unexpected, but disappointing all the same. Eden's was a bit of a 50/50 and I thought Maia had a chance even if she was up against it, so to get 0/5 from those is disappointing.

Anything from Ali, Ella or Emma would have been a bonus, but I just see that Emma has taken the second set - what an absolute star she could be. Katie S won, but was a generous draw, her next match is more 50/50 so we'll see if she can get a good win there.
