The next time I hear about it I'm just going to start deleting posts.
Wont be the first time, nor the last. Democracy and debate only suits when applied to some naturally. Its like the BBC when you see the bias they apply to support the current government.
Hmmm after a week out owing to a laptop that failed to survive surgery that eventually had to be replaced, it's lovely to be back and find Mandy playing again.
Not so lovely to find Jaggy beating on the same tired drum. As I've pointed out before the only names used here are names that players use themselves - in Mandy's case, like others, on her social media accounts. But as CD says, to conform with anything goes against Jaggy's grain, so I suppose we have to put up with this same tedious nonsense till we've gone through every woman player, by which time Jaggy will no doubt start again. And since we started with Lissey, once we get back to her, we know we've been full circle.
As for this week, wishing Mandy well for having a still healthy wrist at the end of it, as well as hoping she can pick up a few points to regain her ranking...
Thought this score was taking a long time to come through
Q2: CARRERAS, Amanda (GBR) UNR Lost to TEMIN, Marie (FRA) 11 715 6-3 6-7(4) 5-7
Hmm, pity that Mandy couldn't close it out in the second set. Without it showing on livescores it's not possible to see whether anyone had an opportunity to serve out for that second set, or indeed whether Mandy had any MPs during it. Still it's a good test for her wrist, and hope it comes through ok. Next week Mandy is still entered for a 15k tournament for which she is currently only 5 out of the MD. That might help her with ITF points, but won't help her regain a WTA ranking. She really needs some points soon though; in two weeks time she is in another 15k draw and there she is miles down the Alt list, in fact almost near the bottom of it with virtually no standing.
Just look at the times when Jaggy posts. Late at night, probably after a few buckfast....
I work shifts so wrong again try harder
You work?
Must admit thought you were still at school
Life in itself is a school, learning every day. So you are correct in a way. I assume you werent being serious. Think the poster Mark is still at actual school though.
True knowledge is knowing that you know nothing.
Anyway a shame she couldnt pull through, but its all about getting match fit so 3 long sets is probably better than going down quickly at this stage.
