Beth lost the second set 6-0. Doesn't tell the whole story though.
The set lasted 47 minutes. Beth had 6 break points, and didn't win any of them, but saved 4 out of 7.
First serve - 48%, but only won 2 out of 12 - second serve was more effective.

Helene Scholsen up next for Harriet. As stated, Harriet is the only seed left in the bottom half, but the top half sees 1 vs 8 and 3 vs 6 in the quarter finals.

Harriet is under way and is *4-1 up having just lost a 5 deuce game. The first two games also had multiple deuces so this is more competitive than the scoreline suggests. In the first 5 games Harriet has had 8 BPs and taken 2 of them.

Had a slight wobble - went to *5-4 0-40, but ended up taking the set 6-4.

1-1* in the second set, but looks like Scholson will hold. She does, to 15.
