Week 43 - ITF ($60K) - Bendigo, Australia Hard

For those interested, Issy is a set and *3-2 up in her match and Jodie follows, so may not be too long.

fourlis need to be called time violasion she never ready to recieve serve jodie always got to wait 10 seconds
she also argueing everything trying to delay and break the tempo up

jodie looks good and good serving but she go for shots she cant make to often set 1 she was blazing them but a tiny diferrence and you get set 2 which is w|ue|w|ue etc

If only Gabi could just play in Australia.

Wasn't expecting that. What a good won that is and it's been a great week so far for most of our better players who are either in the grand slam qual positions or have the potential to get there - Dart, Swan, Taylor, Dunne, Burrage, Jones.

But it has not been a good week in the doubles.

Jodie+ lost to the 4th seeds 5-7 2-6

But more surprisingly Katy partnering with doubles specialist Erin Routliffe and seeded 2nd lost 0-6 7-6(6) 7-10

I've always liked and been a fan of Jaimee F, after seeing her play at Surbiton several years back.

So really thrilled that Jodie took her out here, that's a super win.

Thanks TomT for the commentary too - I've just read it all back.

Good on Gabi too - that's all three through to the second round, can't ask better than that
