So, I am impressed with that win. To back up the title last week with a top 20 opponent out of the blocks, that is a good win. Well done Kyle. Verdasco tough and plays mind games (I have said more before re Verdasco his approach and the substantial accusations floating around), all I will say is I REALLY hope Kyle wins

I could be completely out of turn and upsetting someone here, but smoke, fire and heavy odds probably speak for themselves.

He needs to win Paris and have someone withdraw to make it. The withdrawal is more likely than the other part (Delpo hasn't ruled it out nor has Nadal).

Meanwhile, "Dimitrov now officially out of London, even he wins Paris and multiple players withdraw."

Jurgen Melzer playing his last singles week this week before concentrating on doubles...manages to beat Raonic today and wouldnt put it past him to also beat Anderson and reach last 8.

This draw is so stacked compared to Basle. More money but same points, the wise guys may though be playing Basle this week

Alas, sad ending for Melzer - gives a walkover to Anderson cry

true, being honest I was looking at it on assumption all players would be in, withdrawals complicate my brain waves too much.

Mustn't underestimate the lucky loser pairing after thrashing Jamie and Bruno. Winnable though for certain
