Very surprised Thompson is playing here considering he lost in a tight final in Canada on Sunday against Karlovic.

Pleased for Evan, it was pretty attritional stuff but he found a way.

Nice to see Brydan pick up a couple of wins, 613 is not anywhere near a true ranking for him.

Klein takes out the top seed.
Closing back in on the top 500 and a place in the GB top 10

Good result and good to see Brydan finding some form at last. Has he been injured or had other issues this year?

Thanks Flaming...Brydan has always had talent and at his best should be pushing to be top end Challenger, maybe tour level. Let's hope he gets a run at it

I see one more win this week will see Brydan around 500. Would a semi this week get him an se into Canberra main draw next week?

Evan lost 6-4 6-4 which is a respectable score line given the disparity in ranking.

A good week for Brydan though, hopefully he can build on it next week. Is he playing Canberra?
