No suprise - too good for 15k events. I'd like to see her step up to 25k. There are 2 domestic events coming up....

Yes but they're up North, so it's not like she could nip back to school in between games. Maybe she'll have a week of tennis over the winter hols. I can't see any suitable tournaments for her then though.

Very excited by Emma's progress.... on that topic, anyone know what happened to Holly Fisher? She was promising a few years ago, got a Wimbledon qualifying wildcard from nowhere this year - where she was truly smashed. And not played since, seems very, very strange to me!

As said at the time, Holly looked injured/having issues/not quite right at Wimbly qualis.

No idea what exactly but I'm not surprised she's been out since then.

She has made it into qualifying for the Wirral. Qualifying is Sunday & Monday. I'd expect her to qualify if she signed in.

I'd expect her to get WCs if she plays them. I notice she's on the lists for Wirral, but not Shrewsbury. (Also a 25k). I guess we'll see what her work/life balance is

BTW, it's Holly Fischer, not Fisher. And she doesn't feature on the British Tour leadeboard at all

Nice when a home ITF comes around, shame there's so few now compared to a lot of nations.

Not sure where we are at in terms of maximum wildcard allocations, but as it stands, Grey, Murray, Silva, Christie, Barnett, E Taylor and Raducanu are all in Qs, so you'd imagine 4 of those 7 will get MDWCs. 4 of those 'promoted' should see at least Popescu and Hurst into quals and there'll no doubt be a few MD and Q withdrawals boosting others up like the Pitaks, possibly Boulter.

Freya and Eden don't have any available, Beth and Ella have 1 left and Sam, Lissey and Emma have 2 left. I expect they'll be enough withdrawals for Beth to get to the main draw by right so it's difficult to see beyond Sam, Lissey, Ella and Emma for the WCs.

Beth is currently at Q4 and Sam at Q6 - so a fair chance that they will both get in with a handful of withdrawals. And the players below the ones already mentioned aren't really candidates as red says.

Red ha! I hadn't really thought of squirrels have political leanings, the greys have done very well in South London under John Major's leadership.

Similar sentiments from Evo quoted in the Daily Mail interview posted yesterday in his individual thread.
