I wouldn't read too much into the ITF lists until entries are closed. For instance, I would expect Beth Grey to play her local tournament rather than an equivalent in France.
Mandy Carreras is listed in qualifying now for Sant Cugat in Spain after a drastic cut to the qualifying list today. Sant Cugat is on the outskirts of Barcelona, where Mandy is based for training at least, so I imagine she will try and play this tournament if her wrist seems ok. She is also still on the entry list for Italy next week, though still only 13th on the Alt list. If it's a choice at this point, I can see her waiting for this event. She has just one WTA counter for next year so still has to secure her ranking for it this year if she can.
I see Katie withdrew from China 60k today. Must think she has done enough to secure AO direct entry?
Now automatic withdrawals are done, she's entered for Wirral. Surprised Emily Appleton has withdrawn from Wirral and see Maia has been automatically withdrawn to play France. Freya has ended her Australia journey early and withdrawn from Week 43 to play in Wirral this week. Unless there are surprise WCs they MD WCs look to be from Beth, Sam, Alicia, Ella and Emma.
Hmm, ITF software still not fully working. After withdrawals, Emilie Lindh is still in THREE main draws !
If the software isn't working as you say it might explain why Katie B is shown on the list for the Wirral. I can't believe she's planning to play a 25K event - even if it is at home!
I always wait until the withdrawal list is showing AWs before taking the entry list as being the player's commitment and on that basis the tournament for Emilie Lindh will be Antalya as that is showing AWs. The other two haven't been updated with AWs yet.
If the players forget to withdraw, then it takes around 24hrs to get all the multiple entries correct. This is a regular occurence.
I suspect Katie B forgot to withdraw and may withdraw later(there are big fines in place for repeat offenders). No surprise to see Sam Murray and Beth Grey in Wirral, both are local girls and should get wildcards.
I'm sure it takes quite a while to filter right down to the 15k's anyway. I'm trying to keep a spreadsheet running of the entries purely out of interest and to get a better feel of how the entries pan out between withdrawal deadline and tournament.

Sorry if I'm being a bit thick, AW means Alternative Withdrawal? I can't find a clarification of what the abbreviation means on the ITF site.
