Important to note that Oliel is born 2000, still a junior, and was JWR 4 before stopping juniors early.

Either that makes Ryan's victory even better (mega young star) or more understandable (juniors can be a little inconsistent).

But either way, worth mentioning - and a great victory for Ryan whatever.

I see this as a very good win, Oliel has a Kyle feel to him re junior track record back to back Orange bowls, doubles junior slam winner and singles finalist beginning to rest himself in Challenger Qualifying so a very decent win. It will be interesting to see if they play again in the near future and whether or not he will have worked out Ryans game.
