Great for Sasha and Sophie to get to the SF... but oh, the first mach the Pitaks have lost in three tournaments now. And they were 5-2 up in the first set... which led me to wondering whether Kasia has picked up an injury or bug that is hampering her since she tailed off in her singles earlier today in very similar fashion.

Could just be knackered from playing two matches every day or nearly so for the last 3 weeks?

Yeah that too, they've had quite a run! smile One more week to go here, and they are both in singles qualifying next week.

Sasha and Sophie were 4-2 up in the first set, but not much headway after then and lose their SF comfortably in the end. A good week for the pair nevertheless.

SF: Sasha Hill/ Sophie Muntean (GBR/FRA) UNR (UNR+854) lost to Barbara Bonic/ Jelena Stojanovic (SRB/AUS) [1] 1175 (627+548) 4-6 3-6

Ola is missing from the qualifying draw for week 42 - so perhaps it was her that struggled in the doubles.

Yes, you may be right. Emilie Lindh is also a late withdrawal from the MD, she must have decided to fly out early after her week ended so quickly. Drawing the first and third seeds, and giving them a good go, but receiving no points, both Ola and Emilie had tough weeks last week.
