Thanks for that, Strongbow. The time is is nigh to try and understand the madness better and that will probably be made easier by trying to agree some of these figures.
There is a bit of an anomaly as Olivia will be suited to transition tour, but will have to start at the bottom, yet she has a WTA ranking and could get into a 25k qualifying draw...
Olivia only has 1 counter so doesn't have a WTA ranking. However, the anomaly you suggest doesn't occur as players with a WTA ranking will be accepted to transition tour events ahead of players with only an ITF ranking. The entry list for Pro Circuit and transition tour events will be in order of WTA ranking, ITF ranking and if vacancies remain, national ranking and unranked.
I would have done this for the mens Transition tour as well - but their report is in a different and less usefull format - funny old world. Will get round to it

These points being shown are just the current system projected points at 22/10 save Katie B and Katie S where it doesn't include their points for this week.
The rankings though look very possible - eg I know Emily App's WTA ranking will take a big fall with her lack of 25K or above points.

It is very likely that this won't go ahead given that there are only 10-11 effective weeks before the new year. There is still a lot of the detail that is "TBA". I think that lawyers will be the only winners.
Whatever, I have finally been trying to get a much better feel for things using actual numbers and your very first post of the thread is very helpful for this in helping me agree figures. Thanks for that.
I see that Fran is the other player with Emily App that is due a big WTA ranking hit though with so many of their points being from 15Ks they are then very highly ranked for ITF points.
The men's shadow points I expect to find err more interesting.
