Just to note that this is now the third time in the last few months that Fran has reached the second round of a 25k (the others being Obidos in June and Woking in August), but she has not yet reached the QF of a 25k. Her Woking win was her career best beating Diana Marcinkevica (LAT), who was then WR 227, so to reach the QF here would require a not quite CB win from her

Chiesa had some good results in August and September last year including a couple of RU (60k and 25k) and a win at Santa Margherita (25k), so recently dropped quite a few points. Form has been a little patchy this year though.
