With her ITF success earlier in the year, particularly beating Naomi B twice, I was going to say that the 9/4 on offer for Abbie Myers to beat Katy tomorrow looked excellent value (not that I often like betting against GB), but I have just seen that since her defeat to Ella T in Nottingham quals where she had a lengthy MTO, she has not been able to get going at all - she's only won 2 of her last 9 matches since and those 2 wins were in 1R of ITFs in USA and Aus where she was a seed, so therefore lost to an unseeded players in the next round of both tournaments. Those two wins were 4 and 4 against the current #590 (30 year old) and also her #827 compatriot.

Horrors, I guess Gabi is not fully recovered yet, or at least she's certainly not fully match fit yet. Hope she gets there soon, but glad to see Katy start this week with a win at least.
An entertaining tie-break in Freya's dubs match (livestream on the ITF site), where she and Erin saved 3 SPs, and one point where Freya covered every inch of the doubles court about four times over, she could hardly breathe at the end, bless, although they were both laughing hard too
