Well, we have a British player called Mukhtar Andu playing in the main draw of this 25k event - he's been drawn against the second seed which is a bit unfortunate but go, Mukhtar !

Right then, Mr. Lock should be an Official All Round Nice Guy and let the kid win - simple smile

Kudos to the Nigerians for giving the lad a wildcard. I see they've also given one to a young Irish player - brilliant.

Mind you, he has an African name too - maybe the Nigerians are trying to poach our players ????? wink

Seriously, it's great for the boys to get a chance to play at this level - although you can't help but think the match will be rather quick....

Certainly in general these Nigeria 25K+Hs over the next two weeks look good chances for picking up ranking points.

Lloyd ( & Isaac ) and Jack are in the same quarter.

Certainly seems suss to me as they were given WCs over some higher ranked Nigerians.

I can't find an ITF bio for our new Brit. I thought all players had bios?

Mukhtar has a profile on the LTA

www.lta.org.uk/play-compete/competing/playerprofile/

He's been playing junior events in the UK - mainly Grade 3

He has an ITF profile now. I dont think you get one till youve played an ITF event. Obviously hasnt played any ITF junior events.
