Not sure if anyone saw it but a cracking point in the second set. I think it was when Evo was serving to stay in it at 4-5 in the 2nd. Well worth a watch.
Congrats to Liam, probably needed it more than Evo in the long term. I dont know what it is about Liams game, i just find it very hard to watch. None of his shots seem to flow, but hey he picks up some good wins so cant be that bad. Good luck for the next one
I agree with you, Jimmy. I find Liam's forehand (the grip and the amount of forearm he uses) really unpleasant, very jerky, all a bit contracted - and yet, as you say, he gets some great angles at times and some good results, and I like the guy and want him to win.....
And then played a poor game which shouldn't have mattered too much (as it was Polmans serving) but it seemed to break his momentum - and he lost the set 4-6
