Only one sevice game has been held.  4-1 for Liam, he serves.   The quality of the stream is reallt good.

A good set of tennis from Liam, he takes it 6-4. I haven't looked at the stats, but there were almost no service winners.

Liam was flying, but is pegged back.  First set nevertheless in the bag by 6-4.

Not sure if anyone saw it but a cracking point in the second set. I think it was when Evo was serving to stay in it at 4-5 in the 2nd. Well worth a watch.

Congrats to Liam, probably needed it more than Evo in the long term. I dont know what it is about Liams game, i just find it very hard to watch. None of his shots seem to flow, but hey he picks up some good wins so cant be that bad. Good luck for the next one

I agree with you, Jimmy. I find Liam's forehand (the grip and the amount of forearm he uses) really unpleasant, very jerky, all a bit contracted - and yet, as you say, he gets some great angles at times and some good results, and I like the guy and want him to win.....

Second set down the pan by 4-6.  Could've been worse, given the start of the set...

Liam did all the hard work to get it back to 4-4

And then played a poor game which shouldn't have mattered too much (as it was Polmans serving) but it seemed to break his momentum - and he lost the set 4-6

Liam was broken to go down 1-3* in the 3rd but then played an excellent return game to break straight back.

*2-3

Game on.

... or not as the case may be.

Polmans won the next three games to run out a 6-2 winner in the decider.
