And now that she is in the main draw Emilie could be seeded as high as 3rd.

Should be seeded 5th. The top Q seed is a WC ranked 818 and Makhorkina is ranked higher than Emilie having got another point since the entry deadline.

Pity more Brits weren't out there cry - but you've saved me setting up a new thread -  which is good 'cause I've forgotten how to do it disbelief

The two Pitak sisters should be here.

Sasha Hill is on next week's entry list, but the entry lists the weeks after this start up week back in Sharm again are notably fuller.

RS is correct, Emilie is the 5th seed; not only a ranking now, but also a seeding, big progress in the world of 15ks
Winners of Emilie's and Kasia's matches will play each other in the second round. It should be the two of them.

R32: Emilie LIND (GBR) [Q] [5] 1053 18yrs vs Jantje TILBUERGER (GER) UNR 17yrs
R32: Aleksandra PITAK (GBR) UNR 17yrs vs Maria Vittoria VIVIANI (ITA) 19yrs UNR (JCH:79 Jan 17)
R32: Katarzyna PITAK (GBR) UNR vs Hui-Zhen RUAN (TPE) UNR

Ola and Kasia are also playing here again in the doubles together but unfortunately draw the top seeds first up. They only missed being the 4th seeds themselves by just 5 points, which makes the draw doubly unfortunate for them.

R16: Ola and Kasia Pitak (GBR/GBR) 2004 vs Ola Abou Zekry/ Jacqueline Cabaj Awad (EGY/SWE) [1] 1210 (649+561)
R16: Ashmitha Easwaramurthi/ Emilie Lindh Gallagher (IND/GBR) 2470 (1274+1196) vs Gaia Squarcialupi/ Maria Vittoria Viviani (ITA/ITA) 2018 (1129+889)

A comfortable win for Emilie, as it should have been, and another point notched. She's nearing the top 1000 now.
This week provides a good opportunity for her. Whether she will play Kasia Pitak or not in the next round will be decided tomorrow.

R32: Emilie LIND (GBR) [Q] [5] 1053 18yrs beat Jantje TILBUERGER (GER) UNR 17yrs 6-2 6-1

Well, nothing much seems to phase the Pitak sisters when playing together, they've just taken out the top seeds this week in two sets biggrin

They had two opportunities to serve the match out. First service game they lost to love, the next they won to love - interested to know which game was which sister! One was at *5-4, the other at *6-5, so in fact it was the sister that served first in the set that lost to love, but great to see them come through so well.

R16: Ola and Kasia Pitak (GBR/GBR) 2004 beat Ola Abou Zekry/ Jacqueline Cabaj Awad (EGY/SWE) [1] 1210 (649+561) 6-3 7-5

Edit: Oh, a good snap there wink

Ola gets a good win here in the end, though after leading the second set 4-1 she got home by winning return games rather than her own serve. This is her second counter, but since the other will come off early next month, this is the only one she has so far that will carry through to next year.

R32: Aleksandra PITAK (GBR) UNR 17yrs beat Maria Vittoria VIVIANI (ITA) 19yrs UNR (JCH:79 Jan 17) 6-3 6-4
