Perhaps, but let's not forget that it is only her Top 10 player status that has got her directly in to the main draw. Had she been accepted on her ranking she would have had to qualify.

Yastremska is out. She was the most likely to stop Katie from being top 100. The only women that can take Katie's 100th place away from her when these points are added on 8/10 are Jabeur, Duan and Siegemund, all of whom require at least two more wins.

She's playing well from the bits I have seen, 30-15.

On serve in the second, *1-2 but a bit of trouble here, 0-40. Katie had 2 BPs on Flippers first service game and another on her second.
