Unfortunately Katy now consigns our top 10 women to a significant fall in points this week, as Laura will fall about 44 places next week. Currently we are -37 for the week. None of our top 10 women have had a win this week (losses now to Jo, Harriet and Katy - and Jodie at #11), with just Naomi to go. Well she has broad shoulders at least.

Ironically the two doubles matches were completely the reverse of each other. Jodie and Freya won their first set 6-1 and sadly went on to lose their match, whilst Katy + lot their first set by the same margin then ended up winning.

Fourlis and Harris put out the 2nd seeds easily today. Harris had a CH doubles of 717 a year ago (and similarly for singles), but this is her first tournament since January.

 Harris was playing college tennis for Duke over in the States. She graduated this summer I believe.
