In the men, Connor Thomson also came through pre-qualis.
There's zillion of men in the quali draw but, as well as Connor, I also see: Hamish Stewart, Dan Martin, Josh Goodger, Emile Hudd, Barnaby Smith, Jacob Fearnley and Tom Thelwall Jones (apologies if anyone missed)

Those making it through the first round of qualies are Connor Thompson SC, Josh Goodger ( transfer Tulane to Florida), Emile Hudd OS, Nick Brooke's N'western, Jacob Fernley TCU, Zeke Clark Illinois, Hamush Stewart Tulane, (Dan Martin is the Canadian from Dartmouth not the British one)
singles consolation draw was cancelled due to the weather.
Doubles qualies featured a number of Brits but only Chris Edge MSTU and Memphis pair Oscar Cutting and David Stevens made it through first round with Oscar and David making it t to the last 16.
Apologies if missed anyone, am travelling and following on a small screen- each time I look at the draw I seem to spot someone I missed before :0(
Thanks, Elegant Point. Sorry, to Nick. Glad I'm an open-minded person and supporting some random Canadian (who just so happens to have a common name) Go, all Dan Martins, wherever you are......
But surely Zeke Clark has got to be American??? No one in GB has a name like Ezekiel, surely?
Megan lost a hard fought battle 7-6 in the 3rd, and the victor in that match will play Erin today in the FQR.
Vic lost in singles, but is in the doubles FQR, with 2 wins with her FSU partner.
Julie Byrne (IRL) is also through to the FQR in singles. Julie/Hannah McColgan, Alisha Reayer+ and Olivia Peet+ won 1st round doubles qualies, but not the 2nd.
Good luck today Erin, Vic and Julie - weather looks like it should hold up, at least for today.
CD You are correct - I too am guilty of supporting non Brits :0) Zeke Clark is American, was confusing with Zeke Kelly....pity not a Brit as he's doing OK......
.........and I see Charlie Broom had drawn Zele Clark in the MD, so hoping my earlier words regarding Zekes performance don't come back to bite me! GO Charlie

ITA:
Erin lost out in the FQR, so just Eden and Holly in the main draw. They will play each other if they come through their first round matches.
Vic+ came through 3 rounds of qualies into the doubles main draw, alongside Eden+ and Holly+.
Jasmine Asghar also in the doubles. A name from the past in UK junior tennis. Is now down as an American and came through the junior college route I think, and is now a senior at Oklahoma.
The men's matches ran late yesterday, a singles match which was scheduled for 2.30pm still seemed to be on court at 8.30pm and a few doubles matches were still playing after 9pm. The ITA have not updated the results, but guessing there must have been a few 3 setters.....glad the doubles is 2 sets with a tie break 3rd rather than the single set team matches which I am not a fan of.
no Brits qualified to the doubles MD :0( but as of right are Jacob Fearnly/Alistair Gray TCU, Charlie Broom Dartmouth, James Davis/Matt Summer Denver, Tom Thellwall-Jones Tulsa, Barnaby Smith Texas A&M and Nick Brooke's N'western
I checked the draw 2x, so anyone I've missed or Anglicised apologies and I will be attributing it to jet lag ;0)
I was wondering why Finn Bass is not playing singles? - believe he had to sit out last season to satisfy NCAA amateurism requirements but he should be clear for Fall
Charlie won his first round singles match vs Zeke Clark 6-4, 4-6, 7-5 Relieved I didn't jinx him :0) In another late match (it's 8.30pm) Charlie has just taken the first doubles set 7-6 vs SC
The results are very slow to update but Alistair Gray is also through the 1st round with a 6-4, 6-1 win

And Ewan Moore also won, making it three through the first round singles (from what I can see)
After the second round singles today, TCU' s Alastair Gray is the sole surviving Brit, beating qualifier Riley Smith 3-6, 7-5, 6-3 . Alistair will face the number 2 seed Oliver Crawford (Florida)in the r16 tomorrow. Good luck Alastair!!
After winning first round matches in the doubles, Dartmouths Charlie Broom and TCU pair Alistair Gray/Jacob Fearnley lost today ending British interest.
