28% first serve is not doing Harriet any good third set. She has been broken back again, needs to refind her first serve and some momentum again 6-0 1-6 3-2*
Awful serving from Harriet 2nd and 3rd sets. 37% first serve 3rd set, only 46% overall. After failing to hold any of three service games in a row, even with GPs, to prolong the match unnecessarily, after breaking back the first two times, she then had a match point at 5-4* but failed to take it. Then dished up yet another poor service game to be broken 4th time in a row, this time to love, to fall behind 5-6*, leaving her having to break again to stay in the match. This she failed to do, Han winning to 30. Unfortunately a rather shocking performance from Harriet, she has not been playing at all well these last few weeks. I couldn't actually believe all the broken serves the final set and still thought her serve would improve and she would take the match, but she didn't improve.

Obviously the grass events are a bit of a leveller for our players, but it's such a shame shes gone from beating the likes of Kr Pliskova, Kumkhum, Wickmayer, Hogemkamp etc. who are in and around the top 100 and also giving top 20 players in Sevastova and the other Pliskova a really good match, to losing to players outside the top 200/250. She's had no top 300 win since beating Kr Pliskova at Eastbourne (6 attempts, albeit 3 were really tough).
We have to remember she was outside the top 300 herself not so long ago, but a fine start to the year backed up with a great grass season and beating pretty much all of her compatriots of the same age, some of these defeats do feel like a real chance missed to push on towards Boulter.
