I wonder if Luke is ticking off the targets he has set himself to continue playing doubles? I have a lot of respect for his considered approach to the switch and genuinely excited by his progress, undoubtedly there is lots to learn playing with Neal who must know exactly how the doubles tour works although wont have had to deal with any of the partner politics, likely a refreshing change for Luke. Hopefully Mike C ( when?if? he returns from the big time) will catch up with him again soon and buy him another coffee.

Luke certainly has doubles targets and he is round about his initial ranking target when he talked with Mike Cation ( 70 or 75? ), a mark he associated with likely to get into Slams. And indeed in the US Open he was initially a high alt with a partner in the 80s in the rankings and then made it in after withdrawals. His live 75 mark nudges his CH up another place.

I don't recall any particular doubt about him continuing to play doubles if he missed his targets but I may have missed/forgotten something.

Pity about Luke and Jonny evidently splitting when I had felt and said they could be well worth watching. Well they did not bad anyway in their time together.

Although Joe S has been doing great in rising up the rankings into the top 50 without a regular partner in general it surely is a benefit if a fit can be found. I wonder what Ken's future plans are ...

Some lovely pics of Bambo and Neal as title winners on Luke's instagram page.

Also, I didn't realise he's now living in Dallas and is effectively based there. (For girlfriend reasons, primarily, I think)

Watched the end of the match - they did a great job wrapping it up - bravo !
