I saw Laura Robson wandering about as she was commentating for BT However I wonder if her heart of hearfs she would rather have been in Jo's position of playing in front of an enthusiastic home crowd.

What the heart wants doesn't always get. It's quite clear from instagram that she is still involved with GB tennis, is still doing rehab/training and friends with the women in the Fed Cup team but she can't heal her body any quicker or have her body miraculously become tennis strong again. Maybe it won't work out, maybe it will but it's not like she is p*ssing it away.
And now watching the doubles. What a great afternoon/evening of tennis. Fabulous atmosphere, sad Heather not there but a bonus having Laura part of it commentating. Would be even better if Id made it to Bath - lovely for those that managed it.

25 year old athlete who was a top 30 player in the most lucrative and high profile women's sport and should have been hitting her prime years - I'd have thought it would be pretty obvious she'd rather be playing than having injury setback after setback? Plenty of time for commentary, in an ideal world, when she's 35+, or even 60 like Durie.
I'm watching on BT so no idea how many would be tuning in earlier when Jo was on when it was more important, but I see there are circa 600 watching live on British Tennis' Facebook page now, thought it might have been more than that. If you have BT then you'll more than likely be watching on there.
I see Hungary beat Greece 2-1 in the other match in this group. Greece are weak outside of Sakkari, but fair play to Hungary as they were massively hit with withdrawals. Galfi had a good win over Grammatikapolou earlier (6-3 6-0), and was then part of the successful decisive doubles team.

I stopped watching after that, but it was about 800 after the first set of Katie's match.
