Fed Cup 2019 - Euro/Africa Zone Group 1 - Bath, GB

Saw the shot Jo injured herself on and she was serving 75% rest of the set. Surprised she didn't take treatment at that point.

I can't see how she can continue and we are in real trouble as a result.

What happened to Jo...?
Well done GB to bring a win to a home tie.

As people know, I am not a big follower of the women's game but this week has been truly gripping and inspirational. Huge congratulations to the whole of Team GB on a fabulous achievement. Katie B and Jo K showed the sort of fighting spirit that Bally would have been proud of. Well done to them all.

I'm stunned. Mid way through the second Jo started clutching her arm that had been taped and her serve dropped pace. I thought that was the issue at the end of the second but it does look like it was exhaustion/stress?

Can't believe she came through. Amazing.

It does feel a bit odd Heather hasn't been court side at all this week. I hope there's not more to that than its been a cold or something the others could catch?

Please a home tie in April!

There was something at the USO a few years back. There was also Eastbourne(?) Where someone in the crowd fainted or took ill which affected her. Jo seems a bit high strung at times, might be the emotional toll. She knows that her winning - at home no less - is Quite A Big Thing.

I'm speechless. How on earth did Jo pull that one out !

(The only part of the match I saw was the end of the second set, and there only looked one possible outcome.)

Well done the GB ladies, roll on April (hope you've recovered by then)
