Entries Week 37 - 10/09/18

I'm willing to bet that Dan will be there, even if he isn't picked and is just a practice partner. And Andy certainly will be there playing or not.

I'd like to see Andy play doubles with Jamie, and Kyle and Cam play singles. Jay should be there as the spare and hitting partner allowing Dan to go to Instanbul and chase ranking points.

I see that both Dan and Wardy are down for Istanbul, with Jay playing in Banja Luka in Bosnia this week. (list on MTF is source)

Entry lists up on the Italian entry list site, Jay indeed in Banja Luka, Dan and Wardy in Istanbul. James last one in but good to see them in. I hope they'll both play still and not go to Davis cup. If kyle is not fit though, I wonder if we will see one of these 3 end up in Glasgow? Personally I think leon might select Cam, Jay and then perhaps Andy, Jamie and one other doubles player for the 5 man team, leaving kyle, Dan and James to recover / gather ATP points.

So, looking at the field for GB F4 Mens next week, Billy is looking like he will be top seed, ranked at 683 at time of entry. Ryan P, Finn and Neil P all look like they will be seeded. Of the entrants left, the top 30 listed (included the 18 directly in and the qualifying list) then only 30 of them have a world ranking.

Could be a big opportunity for some Brits to pick up points this coming week - however, just a question but will this make it one of the weakest Futures events played this season and, indeed, one of the weakest played in GB in the past few years? With the number 8 seed possibly being ranked #835 according to the current list, it compares with last seasons GB F4 in the same slot which was 8th seed at 716.
