Weeks 35 & 36 - US Open, Flushing Meadows - Men's Singles (Hard)

I'm not happy.

Andy into a TB but is 2-4* down

Kyle lost the third set, after being a break up and 40-0 up on his own serve to take it into a TB. Kyle looks a bit hangdog, Lorenzi is bouncing around like he's Llyeton Hewitt

Oh dear

I am not watching but I heard Kyle had the trainer on between sets. Anything problem particular ?

 Heather too.

Cam to save us all?

I'm hearing that Kyle's not well or injured but can't find any details. I've seen his finger be re-plastered and then someone putting something into his drink (power of some sort) after the 3rd ended.

Theyre talking about cramping on the commentary. And how they wouldnt blame Kyle if he retired from this match. Lorenzi bouncing around.

I feel Lorenzi's going to win this...two very disappointing US Open campaigns in 2 years for Kyle.

You can watch all the action (in Uk anyway) by taking a 30 day free trial with Amazon Prime . Yes, Kyle got physical issues going on,

Kyle almost playing on one leg atm. He can play his backhand okay but cant put any weight on his right leg, so is having to play from almost an upright  position on his forehand side.

In better news, Andy is 3-1* up in the 2nd.

Meanwhile Andy breaks to go 3-1 up against Duckworth.

Ive also got amazon prime 30 day trial, not sure if its my television but picture quality for Andy match is poor. If this is a sign of the times to follow worrying for keeping the game mainstream. Anyway still think Andy will win this, Kyle though is a burst ball here. I really do think he is a vastly overrated player by some on here, Lorenzi is a challenger player just holding up well enough until Kyle flags. Conditions have done for him but there was no B game anyway. No fortunate grand slam run this tournament it seems.

Why the heck is Kyle cramping so relatively early ?

It has been a problem in the past of course which he seemed to have sorted out.

It's a very sad watch.

Saves a bagel at the very least.
Draw was pretty good as well for the first few rounds.
