I personally dont see Zverev (Lendl or not) winning a slam
I seem to remember a lot of cynics saying the same thing of one Andy Murray when he was winning Masters and getting dumped out of slams...guy's only 20 he's got years to go yet

I could be harsh, accepted. Zverev has just never convinced me! And Andy always had a certain steel in his nature that I dont think we see in Zverev!
I think Zverev will win one if only for the fact that once the big 4 finally bow out he will still only be in his mid twenties and even without the steel he is immensely talented. Even if it is just through luck he ought to win one or two against the weaker fields he will be seeing in a few years.

Yes, I agree.
Zverev is the youngest player in the top 10 and miles off his peak, in terms of age, so must be well likely to win a Grand Slam - I'm a big fan and he's just too good a player not to, really....Especially as everyone's already pointed out, it looks as though the stranglehold of the big names must be coming to an end in the near future and we're quite likely to have a more spotty, diverse range of winners.
I see Live Rankings is calling it as Djoko and Nadal both now being into the O2 field and secure. Delpo looks like he will secure also with one more win, certainly if he gets the title
I can see a car crash about to happen. And keep in mind the Wimbledon semis situation!
Nadal and delpo are first up, match due to start not before 4 pm. Now we know these guys play long and tough. Even if it's 3 sets we are looking at 3 hours, 5 sets maybe 4 and a half hours or even 5.
So best case is djokovic and nishikori get on court at half seven. Realistically later, maybe half eight. But very very possibly we are looking at half nine.
Again, djoko and nishikori aren't known for short rallies. Chances are they will be best case taking us to a midnight finish. But we could be looking at another five sets and another 2 am finish here - for a us open semifinals.
At least they have a day off these days. Well the rest of Saturday if it comes to it but still essentially a day off which didn't happen for either finalist in Super Saturday days.
And final set TBs !
Could be maybe a slight prang rather than an all out car crash.
