Pero and Max La Count both got a win so will meet each other in the QR2, giving a guarnateed Brit through to the FQR.
Although in all likelihood the winner will meet a wildcard top Q seed, who would have been seeded second in the main draw if he'd entered properly (Hassan, ATP 382)
