Shame for Gabby. Hasn't really managed much of anything since coming back from Australia bar 1 win in Roland Garros qualifying.

Ah, forgot they were due to meet in the QF - would have been great to have a guaranteed semi finalist, but it'll be interesting to see how Katy gets on against Pegula.

Katy was superb.

Em and Chanel played well, the fourth seeds came up with two magical (fluke?) shots at *5-4 30-30 to get the break back.

 I can never get the ITF stream to work (it seems my Sky broadband blocks it as I can play it using 3G/4G), but for this event you can also access the live streaming on the USTA website which does work for me, so Id recommend trying that if youre having trouble with the ITF site.

Sky agressively block streaming where they have no tie-in stake.

Katy is live again.
