One of the hottest County Cup weeks could not have been tighter at the top with Suffolk, Essex and Herts finishing on 8 points...decided on rubbers; Suffolk are the Group 1 winners
Herts Neil Bamford didn't lose a match. Cambs and Derbyshire will be relegated to division 2.
The 2018 Winter County Cup is starting tomorrow, three day event 23 - 25 November. 44 teams playing indoors at eleven venues.
I'll post a bit more information as the event progresses and I see who is playing.
The top women's group (Yorkshire, Lancashire, Hertfordshire and Essex) is playing at the University of Bath, along with the top women's group - the only joint venue.
Plenty of well-known names in this group, eg Liam Broady, Joel Cannell, Robert Carter, Paul Jubb, Ryan Peniston, Dan Smethurst to name just a few.
