Just looked at the schedule and it seems very odd, 4 hours between the start time of the 2 singles semis but Harrison who's in both singles and doubles is scheduled to play his doubles immediately after he plays Cam!
SC beat me to it, didn't think anyone else was awake.
I nearly wasn't: I'd managed to stay awake to the end of the programme I was watching on TV & decided to check on progress in the match. Didn't think I could last until the end even at *3-0 to Cam & then lo & behold! The odious Aussie retired!
A win is a win is a win ! Great news, and 90 points to cover the 80 he is dropping from Binghampton
Yes, last year these 80 points for his maiden challenger title took him from WR 275 to WR 199 and in to US Open qualifying. One year on he came here at a CH 73 and has more than defended these points with ATP tour points.
Its great news, I am just so pleased the college route (3/4s of it) has worked out so well for Cam. It was a very brave (and pioneering decision from a U.K. perspective) decision just to do what was right for him as an individual rather than hit the futures tour which would have been the obvious tack given his junior rank. He must have been our highest ranked junior ever to go to college?
Harrison getting very rattled. He doesnt seem to be a player that performs better when angry, from this match anyway. Good news so far for Cam. 5-2 up.
