There are tons of brilliant photos if you look on steven's twitter feed (or elsewhere too, I expect ).
Jay today, 30/07/18, has gone up 50 places to ATP 175 - nice not to 'nibble' into the top 200 but to smash your way in. (And thanks to him for a big kerching moment).
You have to move to the 20th minute of the stream to watch the start of the warmup. Unsure why they have 20 mins of blank stream. You can also go the the Challenger page of the ATP website, but Livestream stream is much better.
Wow, I missed this yesterday as I was on a (horrible) flight back from Dublin - you know you're in for a rough one when you can see the runway out of the side windows!!
Watched most of the final. Thanks for the link guys.
Jay is incredibly strong and powerful and soooo athletic. He can hit screaming winners or just rally.
I think as he makes his move up he needs to learn to be more aggressive in points, sometimes, he can be quilty of being a 'pusher' and allowing his opponent to take control. As he keeps moving up that will become harder and harder.
Massively impressive result and great to see him take the next step. Sets him up for a great US hardcourt season now.
Have I missed something, but I can't see any reference to Jay's fantastic win on the BBC site or the Daily Fail!
Edit, now I've spotted a small paragraph on the Daily Fail under the caption about Andy's return to Washington! Surely Jay warrants his own headline article.

The ATP's devoted an entire article to his win. What a lovely sunny smile!
There's a fair bit that's rehashed from previous articles (waloking to practice, racial abuse etc).
These are the opening paragraphs: -
"If the history of British success at the second-tier ATP Challenger tournament in the small American city of Binghamton is anything to go by, then Jay Clarke is on course to enter the top 100 of the world rankings within the next ten months.
Yesterday the 20-year-old from Derby joined Andy Murray (2005), Kyle Edmund (2016) and Cameron Norrie (2017) in winning the Levene Gouldin & Thompson Tennis Challenger, which has proven to be a well-trodden stop for Britons on their journey to the main tour."
And further down
"Clarkes game is built around his strong counter-punching. Although he does not possess a stand-out weapon as such, he is solid in all areas and is in good physical shape. His fighting spirit was on display in yesterdays final, when he came back from a set and 4-0 down in the second-set tiebreak to beat Jordan Thompson, the world No 97 from Australia, in two hours and 56 minutes the longest final on the Challenger circuit since 2016."

It does but Andy is The Name Everyone Knows in GB tennis.
For the BBC to have a website sports section and a tennis section within that and not mention Jay winning his first challenger title in the week of his 20th birthday and entering the top 200 is pretty ridiculous but yes sadly unsurprising.
