Dan won the first set, lost the second, was a break down in the third, allowing his opponent to serve for the match twice. But it's now 6-6 - and there's a medical timeout !

I actually went out when Dan was 3-5* down, so I am delighted to see that he pulled through in the end.

Fingers crossed for a decent draw for Dan. With the Top Seed apparently pulling out, the top section in the draw will be made up entirely of qualifiers (and possibly a LL), guaranteeing at least one of them a QF spot. I wonder what the odds are of Dan's opponent today getting the LL spot and playing Dan again tomorrow in the MD.
