Interesting that Andy helped secure Diego as her coach. Coach seems to be doing a good job, as Andy continues to do in general for other Brits not just with his management group.

You want to be reasonable careful in younger years but now as she says been doing quite a lot of physical work and certainly seems to have kept much more injury free of late. And just fitter generally clearly helps.

Great interview - doesn't seem phased, confident interesting answers. Well done Katie for the win and the interview.

Buzarnescu beats Sabalenka 6-4 in the decider so plays Katie next. Shame Sabalenka couldn't have forced the final break as it looks like play has been suspended and would have been good if they had to finish off the match in the morning but not to be. Buz's shoulder is strapped and Katie will be fresher, but it will be a very tough task to go further.

Well done Katie - brilliant performance. Also was impressed with Harriet earlier. She was doing really well although just seemed to fade away a bit towards the end.

Harriet, in defeat, and though demonstrably disappointed, manages to be graceful in her presser in similarly impressive adroit fashion to Ms. Swan (duration 10:52)

Very good from Harriet.

I think the fact that after her fall she went off court and it's nothing to do with her knee ( and kinda let's move on ) indicates the possible problem area. Hope she will be fine and well played.

Anyway, the concentration on getting her ranking up is going not bad. From WR 307 (CH 277) at the start of the year to WR/CH 171 in today's ranking, very on the up ...

Harriet seems impressively "media-trained".

To be fair to Katie they both seem pretty comfortable in front of the media.

But! I expect them to step it up. Not a single Im over the moon Sue, or take it one game st a time . Very disappointing. Katie had the opportunity to tease the press a little when asked about the Federations cup outburst, Thank you for asking and well researched, I just happened to be on a working holiday in Romania that week and..... I am expecting a string of Love Island references after Katies second round win!

I feel Katy Dunne has the greatest potential here and look forward to her post victory interview. I put all my success in my career thus far down to a combination of Stevens twittering and my mothers advice.... I mean how day the press ask such interesting questions..... bit like the sports journalists version of hay fever...  its as if they have suddenly developed an interest in Tennis for a couple of weeks but dont worry the press box will be empty tomorrow!!!

Can't watch either, but I would guess she is hitting every ball as hard as she can and either hitting winner or unforced error!
