Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon - women's singles (grass)

Turning point was the 1-1 game where Harriet had BPs.

Harriet you were brilliant. Now keep working hard, keep plugging away, and get back here on your own ranking in 2019.

Yes. Pliskova looked as though she knew she'd dodged a bullet then and stepped it up.

But a really super showing. Do hope she's pleased. And good luck to her in the doubles.

Blessings to that Croatian-Aussie-Turkish coach too.

Well played Harriet. Superb debut at Wimbledon. Hopefully the first of many.

Brilliant from Harriet from mid-way through the first set to the beginning of the 3rd. Had she taken one of the 3BPs she had in the first game of the 3rd set, it might have made a difference, but Pliskova was starting to find her range much more with her serves and forehands. Harriet came back out with her thigh strapped up following her fall, but her mobility did seem ok, though wonder if things didn't start catching up with her towards the end, when her tank seemed to be empty. Still a tremendous performance as all others have said, and look forward to seeing her continue to progress up the ranks. On her grass court showings, Harriet definitely is top 100 potential, and has the psychology required too.

This is the first time I've watched a whole Harriet match, and I must say I'm impressed with both her game and her temperament. I know Karolina wasn't planing her best, but I thought that if Harriet had been able to keep her concentration up towards the end there was a real chance of causing an upset. I look forward to following her for many years to come. Well done.

Katie not even playing that well really. Serving is going down well. Begu not been too good so far but feel like Katie can go up a gear too.

Going with serve in the second 6-2 2-1*

Just feel that if Katie gets a break she'll run away with this.
