Thought Id check on your predictions. Just saying.

Katy D is *not* an underdog!? confuse

Big blow for a potential winner, Petra Kvitova ousted. Retired from Eastbourne so maybe still not 100%.

Several seeds on the men's side have gone today.

I don't think Indie suggested she was ? I only reposted this 'cos so far it looks to be a 'spot on' prediction with possible bonus

Didn't see this coming about 15 mins ago. Pretty much since they switched to BBC2.

Needs to regroup now. She was by far the better player for most of the match and just needs to put those last 15 minutes out of her mind.

Surely Katy D is most definitely an underdog against Ostapenko. I don't  understand   - how could she not be?

The wheels really came off. If Boulter wins now it would be a big comeback , mentally she looks shot and her body language looks terrible .

This was a great draw and really she should be winning this type of match against an average clay court player.

Some misunderstanding !!

I wasn't remotely suggesting Katy D wasn't an underdog, of course she is. I said nothing about her. What I did was predict 3 and said my 3 was Jo, Katie B. And then, because most folks' next favoured seemed to be Heather or Gabi, I just said my 3rd was not necessarily one of them, because I made each of them an underdog.

I made no comment on the chances of the others, but yes to me all the rest were/are underdogs to various degrees. But I thought after Jo and Katie B one ( without being at all sure who ) would beat the odds. So we would get 3 through.

With Katie S winning, as Julia said it was looking good for precisely that. And hopefully Katie B can still battle through this third set for the win.

Then let me wrong by a 4th coming in too !
