Weeks 27 & 28 - The Championships, Wimbledon - men's doubles (grass)

Just watching final, realised Sock stays back on serve. Whereas bob Bryan serves and volleys. That must be quite hard for Mike to adjust to.

Venus playing well early games

The quality of Mike Bryan showed through. One of the greats. Not the GOAT but pretty good. Mcenroe is the GOAT

Well done to Mike Bryan, also now top ranked by himself, not even looking up alphabetically.

Congratulations to Mike, Bob (in California) was the 1998 NCAA singles champion in 1998. They were the doubles champion that year but that is the only time there has been an obvious hierarchy between the two. Did Mike play? If not how did they decide who was going to?

Judging from Twitter, Bob Bryan was somewhat reluctant with his praise.  wink

Damn! I was rooting for Klaasen-Venus! Mike, you dirty dog! You definitely have bragging rights for a while. Huge congrats, fellas. Amazing stuff!
