Great to see Ema playing in a very strong college programme at Duke but didnt feature much as a freshman hopefully shes fit and s a strong summer will put her in a good position to complete for a slot next year. A bit like Emily Arb some good players after a degree from Duke, bringing tough competition for places, Ema could have probably played a prominent part in one of the weaker power conference programmes.

Based on them as 17 year-olds though, there was a big gap in tennis between Emily Arb and Ema L - not saying that Ema L was chopped liver, she had a nice game, but Em Arb stood out from the crowd (in my opinion at the time, better than Maia L, say, who has a similar game, and Em App)
