As Jaggy so perceptively wrote in the Mexico City Challenger thread in April, after I wondered whether Luke and Johnny's first win together was maybe just the start of something really good ;
"Yes the world of tennis will be startled and I expect this to be the start of headline sports news in the years to come ..."
Still relatively early days for the big headlines but going along very nicely indeed
Beating the Wimbledon 2nd seeds wouldn't do them any harm though.
This partnership has the feel of Fleming and Skupski when they first started out. Tore through some future up to challengers and then challenging for ATP titles. Let's hope they continue to play well together, it's clear they have good personal chemistry which is so important for doubles teams. Who knows how far they might go...?
Jamie 13
Dom 33
Neal 42
Ken 48
Luke 78
Joe 80
Jonny 81
& Scott at 108 just outside the top 100.
It wasnt that long since we were worrying about where the next bunch of doubles players would come from as Colin and Ross retired, but Dom, Neal and Ken have come back well and the next bunch are really pushing along.
It would be great to see a Jonny Marray style fortnight from one or more of these at Wimbledon!
These are new CHs for Neal, Luke, Jonny and Scott !!
Joe remains at his CH and Ken is just 4 places off his CH ( will now be behind Neal's CH ).
Ken and Neal have big 360 QF points to defend at Wimbledon but yes let's hope they and/or others can go on a great run. Certainly some good form being shown.
I love the fact that, in the interview, Luke can't even remember whether he and Jonny won the Nationals, (Jonny says they didn't), but Jonny knows the score of the very first match they played together age 10.
Jamie 13 Dom 33 Neal 42 Ken 48 Luke 78 Joe 80 Jonny 81
& Scott at 108 just outside the top 100.

Lots of people on Twitter giving a big shout out to Louis Cayer at the moment, including Judy Murray and Jonny's dad. Fully deserved in my opinion. I have had the pleasure of meeting Louis on several occasions and as well as being a world class coach, he is a really down to earth genuine guy too.

In his talk with Mike Cation earlier this year Luke talked about training with Leo Cayer for the first time in a few years ( some others like Joe Salisbury were evidently more regularly involved with Cayer ).
He said that the man is a genius. Much of it is very tactical with assessing the likelihood of where the opposition can/will go once you have played particular shots.

I have a subscription, so I was able to read the full story. Does the non-subscription version reveal that only the US, with 13, has more doubles players in the top 100 than GB (7, equal with France)?

It does. There is a table of the leading 'top 100' countries alongside a table showing our 7 guys' rankings.
