Good point, shows I'm colour blind as I never see Hev as anything other than, well Hev.

On a more tennis related note, Wardy seems to have burned himself out in that last set and in now down 0-4 in the fourth, looking as if he's going to get bagled

The third set was clearly a false dawn:

FQR:   Benjamin Bonzi (FRA) WR 285 defeated (qWC) James Ward WR 363 by 6-4 6-2 1-6 6-0  disbelief

Fittingly to the above (slightly off topic) thread, The Guardian has reported on Liam and his views:

Liam Broady: Ive got to put opinions out there. Its frustrating more people dont speak out

Both Liam and Naomi are strong advocates for the community. They have been for a long time

Arvin palmer, Tara moor, Yasmin Clark, Anne k etc. I was talking generally anyway not just about brits

my point with that is that youve been watching LGBT players for years and not known about it. sadly that will continue

The conversation had actually moved onto racism by this point.

Well, James has dusted off his disappointment and gone to join Liam and Marcus at The Boodles exho.

sorry I was making comparisons between racism and homophobia within the sport at that point

How much would these guys get paid for playing at Boodles type event - presumably as it is an exhibition they will get a fee of some sort? A few thousand each?

This whole thread has been tennis related  lol. which has included discussions on players, scores, politics, venue, tv coverage, muppets, security, LGBT, racism, having a laugh, meeting up. tickets....there's probably more that i've missed. However the only subject on this thread to get people freaking  out has been on diversity in tennis. How's about a separate thread that can be moderated? I've raised many issues around diversity in this thread that are either 'shut down' or attacked. A' safe' space to have discussions with non aggressive/moderated forum members might be good?

Here's another 'out there' suggestion about diversity. We all love a  poll, how about a poll on who we are talking to?

And here's one from me:  why don't you try starting one yourself - in the General chat forum, which is where it would belong?  Or are you afraid that it wouldn't attract quite such a wide audience there?

I'm sorry, I thought  all new titles needed to be moderated and I personally couldn't put on a new topic? that's not unusual ...I wasn't given a handbook, so that is my error.  I didn't even know a'general tab' existed even though i've been on this forum for 15 year/prob more.

BTW if i was at 'legend' status I would never bully other people,Posting 10000000 messages does not make you a legend sir/madam. I'm way off your 'status 'so i might be forgiven for making mistakes. You should have it nailed though?

Be a real legend, be a decent person

Already 3 lucky losers spots, so stick around James, you never know your luck
