Pity for Tara who I would have given a Q WC to. But certainly pleased for Sam after last year and subsequently having such injury issues again.

I wonder if the final place may go to either Smitkova or Apisah should they lose the Ilkley final. Both currently ranked outside the Q cut off point.

 Having seen both of them at Manchester  I am not surprised at this result

In recent years where there has been a spare QWC after initial allocation it has usually ended up with the higher ranked of the two play-off losers, so Tara is still in with a chance
