Dan Evans beats Jack Findel-Hawkins 6-4 3-6 6-3 to claim a wild card into qualifying. Another three wins needed at Roehampton from Monday to qualify for the Wimbledon main draw.
Really pleased for Dan, but surely Jack has proved he's deserving as well by making it such a close match. So unfair he can't get any reward for his efforts. In previous years plenty or far less deserving final round losers have been given WCs

I was in agreement, but then realised that when you see the top players, and the ones lower down at ITF level, they come equipped with their own.
Maybe the players had been told it would be provided, but if that wasn't the case, then isn't part of the professionalism to make sure you've got what you need for the match - especially such an important one?
