That's an absolute disgrace!  furious

Talk about adding insult to injury, I agree 100% with SC here.

Dan wins 6-3 in the 3rd.

Let's hope he can go off and find a tap now to re-hydrate.

Dan Evans beats Jack Findel-Hawkins 6-4 3-6 6-3 to claim a wild card into qualifying. Another three wins needed at Roehampton from Monday to qualify for the Wimbledon main draw.

Good effort from Jack to make it that close.

Really pleased for Dan, but surely Jack has proved he's deserving as well by making it such a close match. So unfair he can't get any reward for his efforts. In previous years plenty or far less deserving final round losers have been given WCs

So pleased for Dan but like others can't help but feel that someone else has missed out unnecessarily.

I was in agreement, but then realised that when you see the top players, and the ones lower down at ITF level, they come equipped with their own.

Maybe the players had been told it would be provided, but if that wasn't the case, then isn't part of the professionalism to make sure you've got what you need for the match - especially such an important one?

He'd just played two tie break sets against Marcus, who as we all know is no mug on grass.

Dan has played five sets today, and the first two were long ones. Good preparation for the main draw !

Somebody somewhere wants him to fail-I wonder who?
